For those of you with the United Quest card, it looks like Q1 is shaping up to be an offer-heavy quarter. Some card holders have already received three unique offers:
– Months of Miles
– Year of Yes
– 3x Miles Multiplier on Restaurants, Groceries, and Gas stations
Let’s go through each one of these!
Months of Miles
The Month of Miles offer varies by cardholder. The author received an opportunity to earn up to 18,000 bonus miles. This starts with minimum spend requirements for each month, with each month offering 4,000 bonus miles of hit. If all three months surpass the bonus spend requirement, you also get an additional 6,000 bonus miles at the end of April. The author received a spend requirement of $2,000 per month, a fairly achievable number. This means $6,000 to spend across February, March, and April can lead to an additional $18,000 miles.
Year of Yes
Some cardholders have also received a separate Year of Yes promotion. This starts January 1st and rolls through the end of March, offering 10,000 to 15,000 bonus miles to spending on different Q1 spend numbers. The author received a 10,000 bonus mile offer for $8,000 in spend, a reasonably achievable number. Others have reported much higher spend requirements, suggesting that United and Chase are dynamically structuring these offers against existing spend.
You can stack these offers together, with your February and March spend contributing to both.
3x Miles Multiplier on Restaurants, Groceries, and Gas Stations
Quest card holders are no stranger to 3x multipliers on these categories. In fact, most quarters in 2025 saw these offers go out to at least some cardholders. This is a nice cherry on top which ensures that you’re really getting max value on some of these high spend categories as you pursue the above bonuses.
Summary
Together, this stack is pretty potent. Essentially, you need to keep spending on your Quest card at minimums of $2,000 a month. Ideally, given the $8,000 spend bonus here through the Year of Yes, you want to hit $3,333 a month for the first three months of the year (or stack it all in one month heavily,) and then at least $2,000 in April to get the 6000 Months of Miles cumulative kicker. The cherry on top here is the 3x multiplier on these high spend categories. These offers are making the first four months of the year lucrative ones for United Quest card holders who received this offer with reasonable spend requirements!
